27.8.13 What we have been doing in PCS
On Tuesday 27th 2013 the year 4's went to Civil Defence Presentation and we learned how to be safe in disasters. We learned about earthquakes, tsunamis, cyclones, tornados and many more. In earthquakes we learned that if we are outside you can drop and cover your head. We even saw a cool video about it and we all surely enjoyed the video. Stan's partner told us that we all get bags and activity books. He told us that hurricanes a typical cyclone and typhoon are the same but just different names. We really had a wonderful time.
