Welcome to Term 3
Welcome back to Term 3,
I hope that you all had a lovely holiday. This term is 9 weeks. The value for the Term is Determination.
Determination is never giving up, no matter what. A determined person decided to do something and then does it.

The Topics for this Term will be a focus on the:
1. Week 1- 6 Rio Olympics
2. Week 7-9 Keeping Ourselves Safe.
The Piwakawaka Team have been doing Learner Agency Options and the children are really their enjoying various options.
It is important that each child is reading daily for at 15 minutes, learning their spelling words for the week, practising their basic facts and completing homework that is set on Monday and due every Friday mornings.
